We offer a full line of assistive hearing devices, batteries and other hearing accessories. Our audiologists love what they do! We are sensitive to the needs of each and every one of our patients who depend on our knowledge, ideas and care. We develop treatment plans that help people hear, understand and experience more of life’s richness.
We believe that honesty, fairness and sincerity is essential when we interact with patients and their families. The services provided, must be chosen to the benefit of the patient.
All individuals deserve consistently good standard of care, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender or social standing.
The services we provided must as far as possible involve the family and caregivers of the patient. Hearing difficulties affects not only the individual, but also those involved with him and it is therefore essential to include them in the rehabilitation programme.
WELL TRAINED PRACTITIONERS
Our audiologists consistently endeavor to upgrade their skills and knowledge base, so as to ensure that they provide services within the framework of best practice.
Ingrid Botha obtained her Bachelors in Communication pathology in Speech-Language pathology and Audiology from the University of Pretoria in 2010. After completing her community service year in 2011 she started working in private practice. In 2014 she joined Experience Hearing Audiologists where she expanded her knowledge and experience in Electrophysiological and Vestibular testing. In 2018 she, along with Celeste Coetzer became the co-owners of Experience Hearing Audiologists.
In her free time she enjoys spending time with her young family and close friends. She particularly enjoys activities that involves being outside preferably amongst her furry friends.
What I love about Audiology: Being a family orientated person I love how hearing connects us to people, nature and music. Unfortunately the opposite is also true. This one of the many reasons I love Audiology, to provide solutions to people with hearing disorders enabling them to reconnect with the people and things they love most.”
Nadia van Eyssen obtained her Bachelors in Communication Pathology in Audiology in 2012. After completing her community service year in 2013 she has gained experience in both private practice as well as working with hearing aid manufacturers. She joined Experience Hearing Audiologists in November 2017.
Her focus is to ensure that she provides the best possible solutions for each individual’s unique hearing needs. She is especially interested in diagnostic audiology and being part of a team who is able to diagnose a variety of auditory pathologies. When she is not at work she enjoys spending time with her husband and very busy toddler. They also enjoy going for walks as a family with their equally busy Jack Russels. Best part of being an audiologist: “Seeing someone’s facial expression when they hear something they haven’t heard in a while; like paper crackling as I turn over pages.”
Maryna Booysen is our practice manager, receptionist and general ‘go-to-person’. She joined the Experience Hearing team in 2013 and has played an integral part of the team ever since. She is an active person, energized by challenges and always willing to help patients, even with the most difficult tasks. She is surely the fittest member of the team, having done a back to back Comrades and the Two Oceans marathon.
Best part of audiology:” Being part of a puzzle that reconnects people with their world. I also believe that hearing well, improves your quality of life.”
